Our client needed
Identify industrial assets, and, in particular, tooling assigned to Budget lines, with difficult trace in the accounting system.
What we did
Working closely with Engineering, we carried out an inventory Project, with RFID tags, assigning every asset to its production center and type of plane, since small planes to A380.
The inventory was alligned to Accounts, developing a Deep study of the information related to Fixed Assets and also making a complex appraisal of the assets and sub-assets taking into account industrial ratios and technical weights.
Scope
Our Works comprised AIRBUS OPERATIONS and AIRBUS MILITARY divisions and embraced productive centers of Getafe, Illescas, Seville and Puerto Real with huge areas and varied industrial plants.
Result
As a result, AIRBUS OPERATIONS and AIRBUS MILITARY have now an unique and efficient Fixed Asset Management for all their plants and for HQ


Our client needed
BBVA launched a few years ago an agresive plan in order to integrate its Headquarters in a new, modern and high standard office, the well-known “Vela” in Las Tablas, Madrid.
The bank, with good criteria, thought it was a good moment to implement from the very first minute a global Fixed Asset Management Policy.
What we did
We designed the new Fixed Assets Management Policy, using top technology, alligned with the innovating style of the Project of the new HQ.
We developed a global inventory structured by functional areas, splitting by locations and usages in a Dynamic way as the office fullfills with the concept of “Smart Office” and sustainable policy.
We assigned financial values to the inventory gathered. As we were working in a Brand new complex, the assignment could be 100% accurate with no need of interpretation. We worked very closely to bank responsibles from different areas, since Accounts to Maintenance.
Last but not least, we designed the plan for future Management in terms of new acquisitions, identifiying key responsibles and key tasks.
Scope
The scope of the services comprised new HeadQuarters of the Bank, as mentioned above, all around its main operative channels and transversal structure in its singular and Forefront new offices.
Result
As a result, BBVA bank maintains a solid Management system for its Fixed Assets, with an agile and Dynamic procedure that allows them to know what they have and how to assign costs on time.


Our client needed
EVERIS is a one of the leading Management Consulting firms around the world that has suffered several changes in the last years, both in its structure and organizational since its origins as DMR Consulting. Over this years, Everis has changed its offices, including HQ, and it was time to do a wide review of the Fixed Assets Situation..
The bank, with good criteria, thought it was a good moment to implement from the very first minute a global Fixed Asset Management Policy.
What we did
EVERIS has carried out previous inventories, through internal staff, in the past. With the current major changes and the lack of personnel, it was convinient to hire experts to help them out.
We carried out a complete redesign of Fixed Asset Management Procedures, modifying capitalization criteria, adapting them to current days and with the experience of our consultants
We made a full review of the inventory, updating Info with new criterio and assigning costs to working centers.
We also proceed to do a full financial reconciliation.
To exploit information, EVERIS uses AMA, that lets EVERIS manage their assets and their movements in an agile an efficient way.

Our client needed
IFEMA launched a public tender to outsource physical inventory and financial reconciliation that comprised intensive works all along the wide exhibition grounds.
What we did
IFEMA had developed previous works in order to have a Fixed Asset Management model before inventory was going to be taken account. Inventaria helped IFEMA to complete those previous works with our experience.
We made a full inventory, entering in every space, and we carried out a financial reconciliation withe all cost centers and all Budget capex. The work was really unique and singular as IFEMA is certainly a unique and singular complex.
We established as well Fixed Assets Management Procedures.
To finish the Project, we prepared information to import to SAP R3 and we wrote reports for Public Auditors.

When we finished the Project, IFEMA obtained an efficient model and we concluded there was a need for future updates in order to maintain the information with the excellent and sucessfull collaboration between Inventaria and IFEMA.


Our client needed
LEROY MERLIN has a clear and well defined policy about their Fixed Assets Management. Continuous updates and store remodellings make convinient the update of the inventory on a regular basis.
What we did
Global review and update of selected stores, following guidepath from HQ France, with adaptation to local terms.
We carried out a laborious study of costs by lineal meters in order to charge costs to different sections in the stores, obtaining an analytic Accounts system.
Scope
Fixed Assets in their malls, both specific for the business and common assets
Result
The result is a global monitoring sytem where Leroy Merlin maintains a good system and can report to HQ.


Our client needed
Paradores de Turismo is a Prestige hotel brand that has 90 hotels in Spain with singular and in some cases incredibly unique locations with also unique furniture due to its tradicional and antiques concept
What we did
Paradores challenge was enormous. From one side, we were facing really homogeneous realities and origins. From another, antiques are part of the DNA of Paradores with made the inventory complex to gather information and to compare with books.
Hotels have a particularity: Many interlocutors take place in the Project as a hotel has many areas to cover with specialized profiles.
Inventaria consolidated different needs from every área and devoloped the inventory taking into account those individual needs.
We stablished a collaborative team Inventaria – Paradores Finance Department in order to be alligned in the hard and difficult financial reconciliation process. We are talking about hotel establishments of decades.
To finish, we used AMA to import data to Paradores systems (Oracle)
Scope
At the beginning, Inventaria started to collaborate with 4 hotels: Paradores de Bayona, Zamora, Benicarló y Córdoba. Subsequently, the rest joined the process
Result
As a result, Paradores was obtaining precise inventories from every hotel, with right financial information and a data model for future Management.


Our client needed
Catalan Health System has a wide range of services and hospitals that makes difficult to have a good Fixed Asset Management System.
What we did
We defined a system to locate assets by Functional Homogeneus Group and by building in every Hospital
We designed a specific tag for Hospitals. We understood the special circumstances sorrounding hospital environment: extreme cleaning, temperature, patients, etc..
We carried out a complete inventory and financial reconcilaition, identifying differences.

Inventaria began collaboration with Generalitat Catalunya in Hospital General de Granollers

Community of Madrid has implemented some years ago a combined system for Hospital Management: Public property and private managemet through concessionaire system
What we did
We elaborate a master catalogue for Hospital and Private Concessionaires.
We carry out full inventory, distinguishing property : Public / Private We include medical equipment.
After that, we assign costs through financial reconciliation
Nowadays, some hospitals maintain AMA for their Fixed Assets Management and can prepare budgets with the forecast tool included

Public and private needs have to be achieve. It is necessary to understand the assets involved in the system. We have worked in over 15 hospitals: Hospital Majadahonda, Hospital Infanta Leonor, Hospital de Guadarrama, Hospital Infanta Sofía, etc.

Hospitals and Private companies have an understanding and accurate information of the Fixed Assets situation at all times.


Our client needed
AEGON is one of the leading actors in the insurance sector in Spain with many offices around the country. Finance and Accounts are based in HQ in Madrid. Over the years, the vision of the Fixed Assets situation from HQ may considerably differ from the reality of the organization.
What we did
We devoloped a model for AEGON Seguros defininig the target of the inventory to carry out and, subsequently, the inventory to maintain.
We travel to every office to put sticks on the assets and gather information on the filed.
Once we finished inentory, we made the financial reconciliation in order to identify differences and accounting adjunstments when needed.
Last but not least, we implemented a way to work in the future, supported by our App AMA in order to better manage Fixed Assets.

After the Project, AEGON Seguros not only obtained a complete inventory with accurate value, but, what is more importante, a system to work in the future.

IPSEN PHARMA needed a Fixed Asset Management model with double financial analysis: Local and parent.
What we did
We developed a global model to manage fixed assets, involving different areas of the organization.
The Project comprised global review and update of the inventory, proceeding to tag with technology RFID and updating information about cost center and location.
IPSEN PHARMA uses AMA to control their assets.

Our client needed
IDIADA APPLUS is a global company with services for the automotive industry, leader in engineering services, tests and vehicles approvals. Its public origin, linked to Catalunya Public Administration and its subsequent privatization as well as its really complex Fixed Asset Situation made convinient to develop an inventory Project.
What we did
We developed an advanced data model after a deep anaylsis of the information we had from Generalitat of Catalunya, private investments from APPLUS and technical information delivered by key contact people in the organization.
After that, we carried out a detailed work with technical information gathered on the ground with our engineers working side by side with APPLUS engineers.
Once we had the inventory finished, we made a financial reconciliation and appraisal, identifiying cost center assignment and business areas breakdown
Now, Applus IDIADA manage all the infomation in AMA, with different profiles and control panels, all alligned with their ERP.
Scope
Applus IDIADA in Tarragona, with a wide ground for tests and practice with 400 ha.
Result
IDIADA has sorted out a deep problem they have been looking to ammend for the past 30 years.
